Adam dives into the chapters of his TBI survivor testimony. We dare you to stop at just one chapter. The self trained author slowly builds into a story of hope, resilience, love, and loyalty. You'll find that deep inside every struggle is that moment where ....

Praise God! It's good to be Alive! Only those that know me can understand the value of that statement. Those of you that don't, brace yourselves. Get ready to witness a mighty modern day miracle from the Almighty God.

My home was full of love, acceptance, and the warm embrace of a caring mother.  I would learn years later what the meaning of this unconditional love would be to my life.

Later, I’ll learn the reason I can’t talk is because I have a Tracheotomy. There's a hole in my throat with a tube connected it to it that is allowing me to breath.

In the midst of my comma, I had powerful experiences with my Maker. The following account is one of several moments in Heaven. Many who read the below testimony will be touched - others will reject it in disbelief.

god shines on us on valentine's day
2.5.18

Valentine's Day arrived in the Gonzales Home with quite the splash. We recently participated in a beautiful AZ Storytellers project and were invited to an interview. The writer, Cydney Henderson, did a beautiful job telling our love story. It was a heartwarming Valentine's Day gift from God. Every now and then, I need a reminder for these lessons, because I'm all too human. So I pull this list out and remind myself of truths I can not deny. I hope they help you as you're facing your own giants.

Why we need all three

Faith, Family and Friendships is a mouthful. For most people, these three F words are intimidating, exhausting, and challenging. They certainly were for me once, not too long ago. They all require work, vulnerability, and commitment - and sometimes, that's just feels like "too much" to give. But I learned the hard way that they were vital to my own survival.

But I still remember that piece of paper I carry around in my current prayer journal. The one that reminds me to always write down my prayers and to never forget the power of the best conversation of all.
